The day starts before sunrise as I check my service schedule at Comfort Plus Services. With temperatures dropping into the 30s, I know today will be busy with heating-related calls. After a quick check of my weather forecast and equipment inventory, I’m ready to head out.
First Service Call
By 8 AM, I’m responding to my first call of the day. A family’s furnace stopped working overnight, and with young children in the house, this is a priority. These emergency situations remind me why I chose this profession – helping people stay comfortable and safe in their homes is incredibly rewarding.
Mid-Day Rush
The schedule stays packed with:

Between calls, I ensure all my documentation is detailed and complete. Clear communication with customers about their heating systems helps prevent future issues.
Afternoon Education
One of my favorite parts of the job is educating homeowners about their HVAC systems. Today, I spend time showing a customer how to:

• Perform basic maintenance tasks

Evening Wrap-Up
As the day winds down, I restock my service vehicle and prepare for tomorrow. Winter months are our busiest season, but knowing that families are staying warm makes every long day worthwhile.
